Look, there’s not a whole lot we can say about Steven Spielberg’s Jaws that hasn’t been said already—it’s an out-and-out masterpiece, so we’ll just leave it at that. French graphic artist Flore Maquin’s take on the 1975 classic, however, has plenty to say. I’ve featured Maquin’s art on here before—you might remember this stunning Bride print—and I love the way she creates a portrait around the film. It’s a very unique style the lends itself particularly well to Jaws.

As an aside, have you seen the documentary “24×36” which is on movie posters? They talk a lot about re-working old posters, such as Night of the Living Dead, etc.
