I’ve featured Mike Saputo’s work on TMR a couple of times (here and here) because his stuff is so damn good. This piece he did for A Quiet Place is just… holy shit. The art plays right into the film’s theme of silence and the peacefulness that comes along with it — a peacefulness that can be stripped away in an instant, of course. That being said, if you’ve seen the film you know that underneath that veil of silence is a terrible horror just waiting in the dark. This is such a gorgeous way to bring the film to life. Killer stuff.
